Childrey sits on the B4001 New Road west of Wantage, about 15.6 miles from our Oxford base. Our quoted response time is 35-50 minutes, there's no call-out charge, and the price is agreed on the phone before we set off.
The B4507 runs just outside the village at the foot of the downs, and the A417 is a little further out.
